Full Stack Engineer - Assistant Vice President (React/Ruby on Rails)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States; office attendance required Monday–Thursday with remote work available on Friday

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year, depending on level

What you will do

• Develop new features, enhancements, and defect resolutions across hirify.global software platforms.
• Build web applications with React on the front end and Ruby on Rails on the back end.
• Work with Product Management to detail requirements, review work in progress, and resolve issues identified during manual testing.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical design, daily stand-ups, and peer code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
• 4+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience or 5+ years of Python development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
• 4+ years of front-end and back-end test automation experience using RSpec, Cucumber, or similar tools.
• Understanding of system design, architecture, trade-offs, relational databases, and modeling practices.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes and AWS, Agile/Kanban methodologies, and collaborative software development.
