Quality Business Analyst

Location: Remote within Philadelphia, PA / the United States. U.S. Citizenship is required, and selected candidates must complete fingerprinting and a background check. Ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance may be required.

What you will do

• Analyze requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical designs to identify testing needs.
• Create test cases, scripts, scenarios, and test data for project requirements.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, User Acceptance, manual, and applicable automated testing across VistA packages.
• Validate the removal or replacement of Social Security Number data and the implementation of approved enterprise identifiers.
• Document, investigate, retest, and close defects while participating in defect triage.
• Maintain requirements-to-test traceability, identify coverage gaps, and communicate risks and testing progress to the project team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• Experience developing and executing software test cases and scripts.
• Experience documenting and tracking defects and performing functional and regression testing in enterprise software environments.
• Experience collaborating with developers and Business Analysts throughout the software development lifecycle.
• U.S. Citizenship is required; a background check and fingerprinting are required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance when applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience testing Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal healthcare applications.
• Experience with VistA applications or MUMPS-based systems, including ADT, PCE, AICS, Record Tracking, or VistA Audit Solutions.
• Knowledge of PII/PHI handling, HIPAA, NIST security controls, or VA privacy requirements.
• Experience with automated testing tools and Agile/Scrum environments.
