What you will do
- Lead and support testing activities across the Health Safety Net and other MassHealth applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop test plans, strategies, cases, scripts, reusable scenarios, documentation, metrics, dashboards, and test summary reports.
- Execute functional, system, integration, regression, smoke, security, ADA accessibility, and user acceptance testing.
- Design and maintain automated tests and integrate continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Perform backend and database validation using complex SQL queries, Oracle, and SQL databases.
- Coordinate defect triage, root-cause analysis, release-readiness recommendations, and collaboration with analysts, developers, vendors, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Senior-level QA experience with 5+ years of experience in functional, regression, smoke, black-box, and white-box testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience developing automated test scripts and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, and data validation; experience with Oracle databases.
- Experience with Jira or an equivalent defect tracking tool, HP Quality Center (ALM), IBM ClearQuest, and IBM Test Manager.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience testing Salesforce applications and healthcare, Medicaid, Health Safety Net, or government systems.
- Experience with HP LoadRunner, HP QTP/UFT, and performance testing tools.
- Experience in large enterprise application environments and ADA/WCAG accessibility testing.
- Experience with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
