What you will do

  • Manage complex subcontracts for materials, equipment, supplies, and specialized services throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Develop supply chain and subcontract strategies for current and future program needs.
  • Coordinate with program management, business development, engineering, finance, operations, and executive leadership.
  • Develop and review subcontract statements of work and work-scoping materials for major subcontract partners.
  • Track subcontractor delivery, quality, earned value, and overall performance.
  • Present performance-improvement strategies and support proposal and program start-up activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • 10–12 years of subcontract or program management experience, preferably in aerospace and defense.
  • Experience planning and bidding proposals or managing supplier performance.
  • Practical understanding of U.S. Government acquisition regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing cross-functional teams, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with configuration management, risk management, integrated master schedules, earned value management, and sales and operations planning.
