TL;DR
Plans & Operations Analyst (Directed Energy C-UAS): Supporting national-level planning and operations for Directed Energy Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems across Department of War and interagency stakeholders with an accent on National Airspace System employment, threat analysis, and system integration. Focus on synchronizing cross-functional efforts, developing senior-leader briefings and congressional responses, and staffing operational taskers.

What you will do

  • Provide subject matter expertise on Directed Energy Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems employment in the National Airspace System.
  • Advise leadership on Directed Energy and High Power Microwave systems, integration, operational concepts, threats, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures.
  • Coordinate with military services, joint staff, combatant commands, and interagency stakeholders on national-level operations and directives.
  • Lead cross-functional planning and resourcing activities within JIATF 401.
  • Draft congressional responses, periodic reports, briefings, information papers, and talking points.
  • Manage division taskers through ETMS2 and CATMS.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree.
  • Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI.
  • Staff experience at Service, Joint, CCMD, and/or OSD staff levels.
  • Advanced knowledge of Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Directed Energy employment in the National Airspace System.
  • Knowledge of the FAA-managed National Airspace System and its integrated airspace, navigation, airport, regulatory, and operational components.

Nice to have

  • Senior Service College education.
  • Master’s degree.
  • CATMS, ETMS2, or task management experience.
