What you will do

  • Own and maintain the master project work plan for Joint Commission Behavioral Health Care and Human Services and telehealth accreditation readiness.
  • Lead gap analysis, identify compliance risks and cross-functional dependencies, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate workstreams, interpret Joint Commission standards, and develop supporting compliance documentation.
  • Organize and project-manage mock audits, tracer activities, and readiness drills.
  • Establish stakeholder governance through working groups, asynchronous updates, and project dashboards.
  • Prepare concise, data-driven progress and risk updates for senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare project management, healthcare operations, or management consulting.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional regulatory, compliance, or accreditation-readiness initiatives from gap analysis through execution.
  • Strong strategic and project management skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior leaders without direct authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translating clinical and regulatory requirements into executive summaries.
  • Highly organized, self-directed approach and the ability to create structure in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Commitment to expanding access to high-quality, evidence-based mental health care.

Nice to have

  • Experience with The Joint Commission, CARF, NCQA, or another accreditation process.
  • Experience with Behavioral Health Care and Human Services or virtual and telehealth models.
