Engineering Manager, Cloud Infrastructure (Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, USA; full-time hybrid role based in the office with time spent working from home.

Salary: $276,100–$311,400 per year, plus an equity package.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, hire, and grow a Platform Engineering team.
• Drive the technical roadmap for the multi-cloud infrastructure foundation with the tech lead.
• Own cloud cost visibility and efficiency as usage scales.
• Partner with Security on governance, access, and compliance.
• Balance project delivery, operational support, resourcing, and individual team capacity.
• Partner with engineering leadership on operations, prioritization, collaboration, and investment planning.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Engineering Manager in software or developer operations.
• Experience balancing project work with support and operational responsibilities.
• Strong roadmap planning, stakeholder management, and cross-team alignment skills.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP at scale.
• Knowledge of Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, Linux, and Kubernetes or similar container orchestration.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience operating a multi-cloud environment.
• Knowledge of build systems and modern CI/CD solutions.
• Experience developing in Python.
