What you will do
- Prepare financial reports, revenue and expense forecasts, staffing forecasts, and performance dashboards for business leaders.
- Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, headcount planning, and long-term strategic initiatives.
- Analyze assets under management, fee-based revenue, market trends, portfolio performance, and regional or product-level results.
- Perform accounting activities including general ledger entries, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, variance analysis, and financial close support.
- Generate ad hoc analyses and custom reports to support business decision-making.
- Support audit, investor, regulatory, and SOX compliance requests while identifying and resolving control issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger activities, reconciliations, accruals, financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills for analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Experience with financial systems such as Hyperion Essbase and database or reporting tools; SQL-based tools are preferred.
- Must work in-office in Pittsburgh; does not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
