Associate Manager of Software Engineering (Operational Readiness): Leading end-to-end operational readiness for transformation programs, including process design, documentation, training alignment, UAT coordination, and go-live execution with an accent on system implementations, conversions, and cross-functional governance. Focus on validating operational impacts, coordinating cutover and hypercare activities, and resolving risks and process gaps before stabilization.

What you will do
- Own the operational readiness strategy and execution plan for assigned transformation programs.
- Align readiness milestones with system integration testing, user acceptance testing, conversion, and go-live timelines.
- Oversee operational approach documents, administrative guidelines, procedures, and job aids.
- Lead operational impact analysis, readiness assessments, risk identification, and readiness sign-offs.
- Coordinate training alignment, Operations UAT, pilot testing, defect triage, and validation.
- Own cutover readiness and lead Operations support through hypercare and stabilization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in operations, transformation programs, or operational readiness roles.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end operational processes.
- Experience supporting system implementations and conversions.
- Ability to collaborate across Operations, IT, QA, Training, Business, and other matrixed stakeholders.
- Strong risk assessment, decision-making, communication, and execution skills.
Nice to have
- Life and Annuity or insurance operations experience.
- Experience with large-scale transformation or platform conversions, such as wmA, AWD/Chorus, or cmA.
- Familiarity with UAT, pilot testing, and hypercare models.
