2027 Audit or Tax Intern

Location: Principally in-person across offices in CO, IL, OH, and MA, with some local, national, and occasional international travel. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary: $33.00–$36.00 per hour

What you will do

• Participate in different phases of audit and tax engagements.
• Plan, test, research, and report engagement findings.
• Work with compilations, reviews, compliance, financial statements, and benefit plans.
• Engage in corporate, partnership, individual, international federal, and state and local tax work.
• Interact with staff at all levels and with clients across a range of business opportunities.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting, or a master's degree in accounting or tax.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• On track to complete the degree and supporting credits required to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of obtaining a CPA license.
• Detail-oriented approach with problem-solving, communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.
• The role may require work exceeding a standard 40-hour week and occasional travel.
