Internal Audit Undergraduate Intern

Location: In-office in Birmingham, AL; Cleveland, OH; Pittsburgh, PA; or Raleigh, NC

Base salary: $25.24–$42.07

What you will do

• Gain practical exposure to the internal audit process, issue management, and continuous monitoring.
• Test internal control systems and compliance with audit policies and procedures.
• Assist with audit procedures assessing the soundness and adequacy of internal controls.
• Perform and document transaction and functional testing of books and records.
• Participate in a capstone group project focused on key initiatives or emerging risks.
• Collaborate with audit professionals across financial services, technology, credit, compliance, and risk management functions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, Data Analytics, or another business-related major.
• Junior university or college status required.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, flexibility, initiative, and self-directed development skills.
• Employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.
