2028 Audit or Tax Intern

Location: Onsite positions available in Ann Arbor, Auburn Hills, Broomfield, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Denver, Detroit, East Lansing, Flint, Fort Collins, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Macomb, Schaumburg, Southfield, Toledo, Traverse City, and Wakefield, United States. The firm follows a principally in-person model, with possible local, national, and occasional international travel.

Salary: $36.00 per hour for positions in Colorado, Illinois, and Massachusetts.

What you will do

• Participate in multiple phases of audit and tax engagements.
• Plan, test, research, and report financial information.
• Work with compilations, reviews, compliance, financial statements, and benefit plans.
• Support corporate, partnership, individual, international federal, and state and local tax work.
• Collaborate with staff at all levels and interact with clients across a range of business opportunities.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting or a master's degree in accounting or tax.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• On track to complete the degree and credits required to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of obtaining a CPA license.
• Detail-oriented approach with problem-solving, communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• The internship is intended for students returning to school after the internship.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
