Senior Manager, Policy & Engagement

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States; frequent onsite presence at Aurora-INL and other sites across Southeast Idaho is required, with regular travel throughout Idaho and periodic travel to Santa Clara, California headquarters.

Salary: $80,000–$140,000 annually.

What you will do

• Support hirify.global’s Idaho engagement, growth, policy, and ecosystem development strategy.
• Represent hirify.global with state and local officials, DOE, Idaho National Laboratory, congressional offices, tribal organizations, industry groups, and community stakeholders.
• Build relationships and monitor legislative, regulatory, political, economic, and community developments affecting advanced nuclear deployment.
• Act as the liaison between Idaho operations, project teams, and company leadership for Aurora-INL and other Idaho initiatives.
• Design visitor experiences, host site visits, and coordinate executive tours, stakeholder briefings, conferences, and special events.
• Prepare policy recommendations, briefing materials, presentations, stakeholder analyses, proposals, and strategic partnerships across internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, political science, engineering, business, communications, energy systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in government affairs, stakeholder engagement, economic development, public policy, infrastructure, energy, industrial development, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of Idaho’s political, economic, regulatory, and community landscape.
• Experience engaging senior government officials and external stakeholders, with excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical and policy issues through clear, actionable communications.
• Applicants must meet the definition of a U.S. person under applicable U.S. export control laws; frequent in-person site work and extensive Idaho travel are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Idaho state or local government, economic development, or regional policy.
• Familiarity with Idaho National Laboratory, advanced nuclear technologies, fuel cycles, or energy infrastructure.
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, technology, or industrial projects.
• Startup, high-growth, or first-of-a-kind deployment experience.
