Senior Electrical Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Shenzhen, China; preferred location is Shenzhen or nearby cities

What you will do

• Manage schedules, project plans, cost estimates, and resources for new product introductions and major product enhancements.
• Lead electrical engineering teams at contract manufacturers, setting targets and coordinating priorities with engineering leads.
• Develop, validate, and document product and process requirements while ensuring design reviews and documentation follow development procedures.
• Design, build, and verify PCBAs, and oversee schematics, bills of materials, and PCB layouts.
• Oversee electrical and electromechanical test specifications and procedures.
• Manage test fixture design, validation, and repair for manufacturing, QA, and contract manufacturers during new product introduction.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant electrical engineering experience in product design, new product release, test engineering, or manufacturing support.
• Strong project management skills and experience coordinating multiple cross-functional teams and concurrent projects.
• Strong analog, digital, and power circuit design, testing, and debugging capabilities.
• Expertise in schematic design and PCB layout, preferably with Altium Designer; experience with rigid and flex PCB design is valuable.
• Experience troubleshooting EMI, ESD, signal integrity, and power integrity issues, or with regulatory certifications and communication protocols such as USB, SPI, I2C, UART, and Bluetooth Low Energy.
• Fluent English and Mandarin required; applicants must have authorization to work for hirify.global Labs in the US.

• Master's degree in engineering or science.
