Senior Data Scientist (AI)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end features in a large Python codebase, including design, implementation, testing, and technical documentation.
• Work across SQL data schemas, query-heavy analysis pipelines, and the agent layer that consumes the data.
• Design, evaluate, and harden LLM-driven agents through prompt and tool design, evidence gating, deterministic output confirmation, and reproducible behavior.
• Build and validate statistical and machine learning models using calibration, uncertainty quantification, leakage detection, temporal and grouped validation, and drift monitoring.
• Apply methods such as gradient-boosted trees, graph features, embeddings, and feature engineering based on measured performance.
• Partner with penetration testers and platform engineers, and communicate designs and results to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of data science experience with strong machine learning and statistical analysis expertise.
• Expertise in Python, R, or other data science languages and tools.
• Strong data visualization and complex-results communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities, including communication with non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in the UK for this remote role.
