Systems Network Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Ft George G Meade, Maryland; National Capital Region or San Antonio, Texas. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Salary: $77,000–$163,000 per year

What you will do

• Support Kubernetes cluster configuration and management across deployment environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot networks and integrate Government platform services.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the EFK stack.
• Support deployment automation, Infrastructure as Code, system troubleshooting, and infrastructure documentation.
• Assist with security configuration, hardening, assessments, remediation, disaster recovery, and backup procedures.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of system or network engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, or an equivalent substitution.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, cloud platforms, networking protocols, and configurations.
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills and familiarity with monitoring tools.
• Understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Active TS/SCI clearance, ability to obtain a CI Polygraph, and U.S. citizenship required.
