Mid-Level Java Developer + Python (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and microservices using Java and Python.
• Build modern solutions on Microsoft Azure, including distributed systems and secure RESTful APIs.
• Develop reusable AI workflows and AI-driven solutions for code generation, testing, documentation, debugging, refactoring, and CI/CD automation.
• Deliver production-ready software using Agile and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote AI adoption and engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Strong Java development skills and good Python development experience.
• Object-oriented design, Spring Boot, RESTful API development, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
• Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, SQL, and data modeling.
• Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted software development tools, including GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted code generation, debugging, and workflow automation.
• Advanced or fluent English communication skills are required; Portuguese is not the working language for the role.
