Business Analyst Lead (IBM i)

Location: Hybrid role based at the Americas Headquarters in Greenville, North Carolina, or the manufacturing plant in Berea, Kentucky, United States. Relocation assistance is not available.

What you will do

• Partner with business teams to understand operational needs, identify process improvements, and translate goals into clear project requirements.
• Review workflows, gather stakeholder input, and recommend practical solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Lead project planning and coordination by defining scope, setting priorities, tracking progress, and managing dependencies.
• Work with technical teams and business partners to test, validate, and implement system or process changes.
• Communicate updates, risks, and next steps while removing roadblocks and keeping projects aligned with user needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years of experience; alternatively, an associate degree with 10+ years of experience or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Working knowledge of IBM iSeries environments, common system functions, and utilities.
• Ability to review and understand RPG programs for impact assessments, requirements validation, and technical troubleshooting discussions.
• Experience interpreting job schedules, batch processes, dependencies, business workflows, and potential impacts of system or process changes.
• Knowledge of project planning, requirements gathering, business process improvement, testing, implementation, and post-launch support.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
