AV Field Implementation Manager (Audiovisual)

Location: Livermore, California, USA; work across multiple customer sites within an assigned region, including regional and out-of-state travel.

Salary: $120,000–$133,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead field implementation of complex broadcast, media, experiential AV, and enterprise AV systems.
• Conduct pre-implementation site walks and document access, infrastructure, environmental conditions, risks, and installation constraints.
• Provide multi-site governance, technical escalation support, installation quality oversight, and commissioning-readiness verification.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, fabrication, operations, logistics, compliance, and supply chain teams.
• Supervise and mentor site supervisors, lead technicians, and senior field staff.
• Represent hirify.global with clients, resolve technical concerns, and maintain safety, quality, and ISO-related compliance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience installing advanced broadcast, media, and AV systems.
• Previous experience as a site supervisor, lead technician, or equivalent field leader, with expert-level technical knowledge equivalent to Installation Technician Level 4.
• High school diploma or GED and an associate degree or equivalent technical training.
• Required AVIXA CTS, CTS-I or CTS-D, and OSHA 30 certifications.
• Ability to travel, work nights, weekends, and extended shifts when required by installation windows.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, access confined spaces, and work in construction, client, and live production environments.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional education.
• Dante Level 2 or Level 3 certification.
• SMPTE, IPMX, or equivalent media networking certifications.
• CCNA or equivalent networking competency.
