Operations & Production Specialist, Experiences (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. Travel up to 30% may be required. The role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information, so candidates must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.

Salary: $86,000–$120,000 annually for the exempt position. A non-exempt pay range of $31.00–$44.00 per hour is also listed.

What you will do

• Deliver experiences end to end, including design development, fabrication, logistics, installation, live operation, and teardown.
• Maintain and evolve headquarters experiences so they remain operational, compelling, and forward-looking.
• Lead roadshow deployments, including builds and breakdowns across multiple locations.
• Plan and execute site logistics with surveys, generator and HVAC setup, and compliance activities.
• Manage vendors and fabricators while driving quality, speed, and innovation.
• Lead onsite labor teams, troubleshoot technical issues, and make rapid decisions during event execution.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on technical fluency in power, HVAC, structures, AV, or similar systems.
• Experience or familiarity with union labor environments and large-scale venue builds.
• Ability to lead onsite labor teams and solve problems under pressure.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends to support events.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Must meet U.S. export-control requirements as a U.S. person or be eligible for deemed export licensing.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale or high-visibility events.
• Technical production experience in AV, staging, lighting, fabrication, or power management.
• Experience in aerospace, technology, or highly regulated industries.
• Forklift certification.
