Embedded Software Verification Engineer (Entry Level) (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Connecticut or hybrid; U.S. citizenship required. Travel may be required for up to two weeks per year.

What you will do

• Perform verification activities for embedded aerospace and defense systems, including artifact reviews, test case and test procedure development, and results compilation.
• Implement verification strategies and testing solutions in line with verification lifecycles and DO-178C objectives.
• Work with simulation, integration, target hardware, and Hardware-in-the-Loop environments.
• Maintain accurate traceability between high-level and low-level requirements and verification artifacts.
• Identify, isolate, and analyze verification findings while collaborating with project leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Support verification schedules and quality objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related science, engineering, or mathematics discipline.
• Understanding of engineering principles and real-time embedded software verification.
• Experience or knowledge of C/C++ or similar embedded languages and Python or equivalent scripting languages.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root-cause investigation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required; dual citizenship must be disclosed.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
