What you will do

• Design Python automation frameworks to characterize radar, RF, and antenna subsystem performance.
• Write embedded C/C++ firmware to stimulate hardware interfaces, inject FPGA test patterns, and control RF transceivers.
• Develop Hardware-in-the-Loop test setups integrating flight software, ground station commands, and simulated environmental data.
• Automate signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes to collect and analyze performance data.
• Collaborate with FPGA and RF engineers to define test requirements and debug hardware-software integration issues.
• Analyze test data and maintain continuous integration pipelines running automated tests on physical hardware targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in test engineering, embedded software development, or hardware validation.
• Strong C/C++ skills for embedded targets and Python skills for test automation, data analysis, and instrument control.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, and PCIe communication protocols.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and component-level hardware debugging.
• Ability to solve complex problems independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience with radar systems, phased-array antennas, or satellite communications.
• Experience with Xilinx Zynq/MPSoC, Petalinux, or Yocto build systems.
• Familiarity with Jenkins or GitLab CI for hardware testing.
• Experience developing automated drivers for Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, or Anritsu equipment.
