Embedded Software Verification Engineer (Mid Level)

Location: Onsite in Connecticut, hybrid, or fully remote within the United States; U.S. Citizenship required

What you will do

• Perform verification activities for real-time embedded aerospace and defense systems, including artifact reviews, test-case and test-procedure development, and results compilation.
• Implement verification strategies aligned with verification lifecycles and DO-178C objectives.
• Develop testing solutions based on high- and low-level requirements with accurate traceability.
• Work with simulation, integration, target hardware, and Hardware-in-the-Loop environments.
• Identify, isolate, and analyze verification findings while supporting schedules and quality objectives.
• Collaborate with hardware, development, and certification teams and provide technical support to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related science, engineering, or mathematics discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in embedded software development or verification.
• Strong understanding of verification methods and strategies.
• Experience with C/C++ or similar embedded languages and Python or equivalent scripting languages.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation skills.
• U.S. Citizenship is required; dual citizenship must be disclosed. Availability to travel for up to approximately two weeks per year.
