R&D Fab Process Engineer (MEMS)

Location: Fort Collins, Colorado, USA; onsite at 4380 Ziegler Road

Annual base salary: USD 91,100–146,000, plus discretionary annual bonus and equity opportunities.

hirify.global's Wireless Semiconductor Division develops and manufactures silicon-based MEMS technologies in Northern Colorado.

What you will do

• Develop and sustain new and enabling dry etch processes for silicon-based MEMS fabrication.
• Explore new materials, applications, and process conditions for technology development.
• Optimize and establish robust processes for existing volume manufacturing.
• Design experiments and analyze data to support process changes and manufacturing improvements.
• Identify and resolve yield and defect issues, documenting results and communicating them across engineering and operations.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and equipment maintenance teams while mentoring and learning from colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, physics, or chemistry.
• At least 5 years of experience; alternatively, a master's degree or higher with at least 3 years of experience.
• Manufacturing experience as a dry etch engineer.
• Strong knowledge of dry etch fundamentals, manufacturing, statistical process control, and process documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, experimental design, and data analysis skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, take ownership, multitask, collaborate, and deliver results on time.
