Equipment Technician

Location: Cincinnati, OH, United States; onsite

Salary: $15.50–$16.50 per hour

What you will do

• Clean and disinfect medical equipment using approved disinfectants.
• Monitor par sheets and inventory levels, and obtain supplies through the Stock Acquisition Process.
• Transport equipment with a pushcart and maintain the assigned work area.
• Follow hospital policies, infection control processes, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Respond to hospital staff communications, report incidents and hazards, and support shift leads with scheduled and punch-list tasks.
• Work collaboratively, cover staff shortages, and provide professional customer service.

Requirements

• No specific education requirements.
• Completed safety and task training certification.
• Ability to read inventory forms, instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, cleaning equipment upkeep, and the safe use of cleaning compounds and chemicals.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods and perform repetitive tasks safely.
