Equipment Tech (Medical Equipment)

Location: Cincinnati, OH, United States; on-site hospital work

Salary: $15.00–$16.00 per hour

What you will do

• Clean and disinfect medical equipment using approved disinfectants and infection control procedures.
• Maintain department par levels, read inventory forms, and obtain supplies through the Stock Acquisition Process.
• Transport equipment with a pushcart and maintain the assigned work area.
• Complete daily schedules and support shift leads with punch-list items.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions while following safety rules, company procedures, and hospital policies.
• Communicate professionally with hospital staff, customers, supervisors, and coworkers.

Requirements

• No specific education requirement.
• Completed safety and task training certification.
• Ability to read inventory forms, instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment upkeep, cleaning compounds, and safe chemical use.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, use personal protective equipment, and work as part of a team.
