Data Analytics, Senior Advisor (GenAI)

Location: Irwindale, California, US; hybrid work with required residence in California. Employees report to an SCE facility for a set number of days and work remotely on the remaining days. Relocation may apply.

Salary: $161,700–$242,600 per year

What you will do

• Perform complex analysis across databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and data warehouses while cleaning and preprocessing data.
• Apply descriptive statistics, data mining, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques to identify trends and relationships.
• Develop charts, dashboards, reports, and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor data quality and performance metrics, and improve analytics methodologies and processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to align analytics with business needs.
• Mentor and guide other data analysts and participate in an incident-management on-call rotation approximately every four to six weeks.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in data analysis.
• Experience using a variety of data tools and software.
• Experience with SQL, SAS, Python, or similar analytical languages for extracting, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.
• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms, including data exploration, analytical data modeling, and query optimization.
• Experience building or using Generative AI tools or AI-powered analytics solutions.
• Must work and reside in California unless otherwise noted; hybrid facility attendance is required.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms.
• Two or more years of experience with Generative AI or AI-powered analytics solutions.
• Hands-on experience in at least two areas: customer segmentation, propensity modeling, forecasting, and root-cause analysis.
