Risk & Change Manager

Location: On-site at the Miami headquarters, with travel to project sites as needed (15–25%)

What you will do

• Own the project risk register, including identification workshops, probability and impact quantification, mitigation plans, ownership, and monthly reviews.
• Run the change order process across general contractor, EPC, and vendor contracts from initial identification through approval and execution.
• Review scope, pricing, productivity, quantity, and contractual entitlement, and support project management and supply chain teams during negotiations.
• Monitor contract notice requirements, time-bar clauses, and documentation obligations to support claims avoidance and dispute resolution.
• Integrate risk exposure ranges and pending-change forecasts into monthly cost reports.
• Develop risk and change management standards, including templates, thresholds, approval matrices, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in project controls, commercial management, contract administration, risk, or change management on major capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, lump sum, and EPC contracts, including entitlement, notice provisions, and change mechanics.
• Experience managing quantified risk registers and the full change order lifecycle.
• Claims awareness, precise documentation skills, construction cost knowledge, and the ability to assess contractor pricing.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, quantity surveying, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Miami and travel to project sites as needed.

Nice to have

• Monte Carlo risk analysis experience.
• Background in data center, power, or heavy industrial projects.
