Equity Research Sales Associate, Mid Level (AI)

Location: New York, New York; onsite on the NYC Trading Floor

Annual base pay: $110,000–$120,000 plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Market fundamental equity research and derivative content through sales calls, conference calls, analyst meetings, and events.
• Cover and co-cover institutional clients by delivering research, derivative strategy, market intelligence, and corporate access.
• Coordinate with research, derivatives, market intelligence, corporate access, sales-trading, and trading teams to support client requests.
• Help originate and onboard new equity and derivative accounts.
• Build relationships with company management, institutional investors, senior salespeople, analysts, and traders.
• Lead efficiency-improvement projects and apply agentic AI to streamline daily workflows.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in finance or sales.
• Current Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
• Experience developing and managing institutional client relationships in a sales or client-facing role.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, communication, research, writing, and organizational skills.
• Passion for financial markets, derivatives, and equities, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Will not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or a related area.
• Progress toward the CFA curriculum.
• Experience with or willingness to learn agentic AI applications.
