Software Developer (C++/C#)

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Salary: CAD 88,000–128,700 per year starting base salary, with offers potentially exceeding this range based on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Prototype, implement, and maintain features and software components for civil engineering products.
• Participate in code reviews and improve code quality based on feedback.
• Write unit and integration tests to support system stability.
• Collaborate with product owners, experience designers, and product management to implement proposed designs.
• Work as an active member of a Scrum team using Agile and LEAN methodologies.
• Gather user feedback and explore AI integrations that create value for customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Good programming skills in C++ and C#.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.
• Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and system analysis.
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Experience working in a Scrum team.

Nice to have

• Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry background or education.
• Experience with Git, DevOps, CI/CD, installation, and test automation.
• Familiarity with computational geometry, cloud services, web technologies, and databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or SQLite.
• Experience with .NET, Python, and AI technologies, frameworks, or platforms.
