Software Developer (Diagnostics)

Software Developer (Diagnostics): Designing, developing, and deploying diagnostic software applications for the Autonomous Vehicle Integrity Platform with an accent on embedded systems and in-vehicle communication. Focus on writing high-quality C/C++ code, implementing AUTOSAR standards, and performing in-vehicle verification testing.

Location: Hybrid in Markham, Ontario (must report to office at least 3 days per week)

Salary: $90,000 – $136,400

What you will do

• Own and develop diagnostic software solutions as part of a cross-functional team for autonomous vehicle platforms.
• Collaborate with architects to refine requirements and drive software solutions primarily in C and C++.
• Perform software verification including unit testing, simulation, and in-vehicle testing.
• Produce thorough technical documentation in alignment with software development processes.
• Work within an agile environment to ensure timely delivery and high quality of assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Software, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 3+ years of experience in embedded software design and implementation using C.
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and in-vehicle serial communication (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Experience with AUTOSAR (BSW and ARXML) and familiarity with ISO 26262 automotive safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license.
