HVAC Technician Apprentice (HVAC)

Location: Field-based in Brea, California; work is conducted on-site at customer locations.

Salary: $17.48–$42.83 per hour

What you will do

• Assist service technicians with installing, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing environmental control systems.
• Coordinate with supervising field technicians, project managers, and customers to plan on-site installations and gather materials.
• Use software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Identify equipment issues and plan repair work to support customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strict safety standards and accountability for company assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old on the first day of employment.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations in the past three years.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• Strong desire to learn the HVAC trade; prior industry experience is not required.
• Technical school certification or formal HVAC training and experience is preferred.
