What you will do

• Assist experienced welders with GMAW/MIG welding and basic metal fabrication.
• Set up workstations, gather materials, position parts, and prepare joints.
• Operate hand tools and power tools such as grinders, wire wheels, and clamps.
• Measure and inspect parts using tape measures, squares, and gauges.
• Read basic drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions while following safety procedures and using PPE.
• Clean welds, remove spatter, handle materials, and maintain an organized work area.

Requirements

• Recent trade school graduate in welding or metal fabrication, or hands-on welding/manufacturing experience.
• Basic welding and safety knowledge, with familiarity with GMAW.
• Reliability, punctuality, coachability, and commitment to learning the trade.
• Ability to work on your feet, lift materials, and handle shop tools.
• Commitment to integrity, velocity, teamwork, safety, and quality.
