Assembly Trainee (Aerospace)

STS Aerospace, part of hirify.global, manufactures fabricated metal tubing and assemblies for aerospace applications.

What you will do

• Fabricate, assemble, install, salvage, and repair rigid and flexible tube assemblies and related components.
• Prepare hoses and fittings using hand tools, RTV, buffing, cleaning, and other assembly operations.
• Set up and operate abrasive, squaring, deburring, sizing, swaging, and crimping equipment.
• Read blueprints, method sheets, and process specifications to manufacture metal tubes.
• Perform dimensional measurements, visual inspections, and quality tests on materials, assemblies, and finished products.
• Move, position, clean, and prepare work pieces, tools, dies, and materials for production.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, method sheets, process sheets, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly, use hand tools, reach, and perform close-vision tasks.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Consistent, reliable, and punctual attendance is required.
