Fabrication Mechanic - Mold Prep & Trim (SS) - 2nd Shift

What you will do

• Set up and operate abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment.
• Use hand tools to grind, cut, and sand walls to specified limits.
• Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components, and finished products.
• Prepare parts with chemicals such as Chemlock, acetone, and alcohol for subsequent processing.
• Prepare parts for oven curing and molding operations.
• Maintain reliable attendance and perform additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training may be accepted.
• Ability to follow blueprints, customer instructions, and company operating procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hand tools, reach, and perform close-vision work.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
