Solutions Engineer - Agents & Automation (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States

Estimated annual pay range: $150,000–$200,000, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Build and deploy declarative, prompt-based, and custom-engine agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry.
• Translate business requirements into production workflows, automations, integrations, grounding architectures, and reusable solution patterns.
• Design and implement Power Platform, Azure, and Agent 365 governance, security, compliance, identity, and lifecycle controls.
• Configure environments, DLP policies, managed environments, ALM pipelines, approval workflows, monitoring, auditing, and deployment strategies.
• Perform agent evaluations, validate grounding quality, improve reliability and user experience, and apply responsible AI and safety practices.
• Advise customers and delivery teams through technical workshops, solution design, implementation, documentation, and adoption of emerging Microsoft agent capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Four or more years delivering solutions with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, or related Microsoft cloud technologies, including hands-on AI or agent experience.
• Production development experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry, including custom-engine agents.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Fx, YAML, agent architecture, governance, security, and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of prompt design, evaluation, monitoring, responsible AI, identity, compliance, and operational controls.
• Strong technical advisory, analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills; ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications such as AB-900, PL-600, AB-100, or AI-103, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft IQ services, Microsoft Agent Framework, Azure AI Search, Microsoft Graph, MCP Servers, and the Agent 365 SDK.
