Principal AI Solutions Advisor (AI)

Location: Remote or hybrid within the United States, preferably near the corporate offices in Merrimack, NH, or the Boston or New York metropolitan areas. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $138,000–$179,670 per year

What you will do

• Lead customer discovery sessions, executive briefings, and workshops focused on AI, automation, data, and governance.
• Advise customers on Microsoft AI platforms, including Copilot, Power Platform, Fabric, Azure AI, and Azure data services.
• Translate business goals, technical requirements, and risks into recommendations, reference architectures, assessments, and roadmaps.
• Support pre-sales pursuits with account teams, partners, vendors, architects, and delivery resources.
• Create reusable workshop materials, decision frameworks, demonstrations, use-case maps, and solution playbooks.
• Guide customers on agent strategy, responsible AI, compliance, identity, lifecycle management, and operational adoption while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, solution architecture, customer success engineering, advisory services, or a related customer-facing role.
• Experience leading customer workshops, discovery sessions, strategy sessions, or executive presentations.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure services for AI, data, automation, and governance.
• Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, data governance, security, privacy, identity, compliance, and operational readiness.
• U.S. work authorization required; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, Power BI, data modernization, or AI governance programs.
• Familiarity with Copilot adoption, agent strategy, change management, or productivity transformation.
• Exposure to Dell, HPE, NVIDIA, hybrid infrastructure, multi-cloud, or enterprise coding assistant governance.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications in Azure, Power Platform, Fabric, security, or architecture.
