What you will do

• Operate Material Handlers and other heavy equipment safely to support daily facility operations.
• Transport metals using grapples or magnets to feed hoppers, chutes, or stockpiles.
• Perform daily cleaning, upkeep, and safety checks of equipment pre- and post-operation.
• Collaborate with the Safety Department to investigate damage, incidents, or near misses.
• Assist the maintenance team with minor equipment repair work as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience operating Sennebogen or equivalent heavy loaders.
• Valid state Driver’s License and forklift certification required.
• Ability to work required shifts, including Saturdays and alternate hours.
• Experience operating forklifts, hydraulic equipment, and hand tools.
