Material Finisher (CNC Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Remove completed parts from CNC routers and perform deburring, edge finishing, and surface preparation.
• Inspect parts for defects and coordinate verification with Quality Control against drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Clean finished components and prepare materials, fixtures, tooling, and production information for the next CNC run.
• Verify machine setup parameters and alignment, and assist with material and tooling changes during production transitions.
• Maintain job travelers, inspection records, completion status, housekeeping, and a safe production area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings, work instructions, and production documents.
• Experience using hand tools and deburring equipment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, material finishing techniques, and basic CNC router setup.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, quality focus, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing, machining, or production experience.
• Experience with CNC routers, machining equipment, or fabrication processes.
