Pharmacist Floater I (Compounding - 751/MARC & RxEACH)

Location: San Antonio, Texas, with travel to stores in the assigned region or company-wide as required

What you will do

• Provide pharmacist coverage at stores within the assigned region and support staff, assistant manager, or manager assignments as needed.
• Verify prescriptions through the required seven-point check, answer prescription questions, counsel patients, and support accurate fulfillment and delivery.
• Operate pharmacy systems and automated prescription-processing equipment, including RxEVO, RxIMS, ScriptPro, and Kirby Lester.
• Manage prescription adjudication, drug utilization reviews, inventory processes, controlled-substance counts, and product quality assurance.
• Maintain workflow, quality-control, sanitation, and operational standards while supporting continuous improvement.
• Train pharmacy partners, support career planning, collaborate with pharmacy leadership, and participate in immunization, medication therapy management, and health-screening services.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of pharmacist experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• TSBP-registered pharmacist with recertification completed at least 60 days before expiration.
• TSBP-certified immunizer and TSBP preceptor certification after one year of pharmacy practice.
• Expert knowledge of pharmacy production systems, management processes, problem-solving, and analytical work.
• Open availability for rotating shifts, weekends, travel between stores, and extended standing or sitting of up to 12 hours.
