Manufacturing, Production and Procurement (MPP) Materials & Logistics Specialist (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and condition against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Package, label, document, and coordinate shipments with carriers.
• Maintain inventory records through ERP/MRP transactions, cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations.
• Pull, stage, and kit materials for production work orders while monitoring replenishment and stock levels.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, quality, and program teams to resolve discrepancies and segregate non-conforming materials.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–25 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and inventory control, depending on the applicable experience level.
• Experience processing receipts, issuances, and transfers in an ERP/MRP inventory system such as SAP or Deltek Costpoint.
• Ability to read pick lists, work orders, packing slips, shipping documents, and inventory reports.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, analytical reasoning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds and operate material-handling equipment; forklift certification or ability to obtain it is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or production environments.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience with Jira or Vault.
