Compensation and Insights Analyst

Location: New York, New York, United States; hybrid

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year, plus an annual performance bonus

What you will do

• Support global compensation programs, including market pricing, offers, promotions, internal moves, job evaluations, and annual compensation cycles.
• Manage salary survey participation, compensation reporting, and analyses for business decisions.
• Analyze internal and external compensation data and provide recommendations on equitable, competitive, and consistent pay.
• Maintain Workday compensation configuration, salary structures, and the global job architecture.
• Build dashboards, workforce analyses, and reports while auditing HR data and resolving quality issues.
• Improve People team processes through standardized reporting, automation, AI, and scalable analytics.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in compensation, people analytics, HRIS, workforce analytics, or a similar analytical role.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Experience building dashboards or visualizations with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to handle sensitive data confidentially.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Core HCM or Compensation.
• Experience with salary benchmarking, market pricing, salary reviews, or pay equity analyses.
• Experience using SQL, Python, or similar tools for querying, automation, or analysis.
• Experience using AI tools to improve reporting, analysis, or operational efficiency.
