Customer Support Engineer - NFC & Security (NFC/RFID)

What you will do

• Provide technical support to customers worldwide designing with NFC, RFID, and Security devices through email, online tools, and phone.
• Develop recognized technical expertise in NFC, RFID, and Security solutions for the Mass Market segment.
• Resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly and accurately to improve satisfaction and accelerate time-to-market.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to improve products and the customer experience.
• Contribute to product documentation, FAQs, application notes, and technical training.
• Help customers develop applications and review schematics and PCB layouts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or Electronic Information Engineering, or equivalent practical experience with at least 3 years in a relevant technical role.
• Experience developing embedded software or firmware applications.
• Proficiency in C and good Linux and/or RTOS programming skills.
• Knowledge of UART, SPI, I²C, SDIO, USB, and network interfaces, plus experience with ARM-based microcontrollers and/or microprocessors.
• Ability to understand schematics and review PCB layouts.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with NFC/RFID technologies, secure elements, or smart cards.
• Knowledge of antenna design, impedance matching, tuning, and RF regulatory compliance.
• Experience with ISO 14443, ISO 15693, EMVCo, or ISO 7816 secure communication protocols.
• Embedded Linux and/or Android application development experience.
• Knowledge of software design, coding, and testing best practices.
