Laser Operator (2nd Shift)

Location: Dallas, Texas, USA; onsite manufacturing environment

Company

Manufactures customized power distribution and protection systems, including relay and control panels, medium-voltage switchgear, and power/control buildings.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting machines.
• Prepare, align, and position materials for precision cutting.
• Inspect finished cuts for quality and accuracy.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine and cutting-process issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment.
• Experience with laser cutting software.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to wear required PPE on the production floor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and push, pull, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 35 pounds.

Nice to have

• Certification in laser cutting or CNC machining.
