What you will do

• Set up and operate turret press and laser equipment according to specifications and work instructions.
• Read blueprints, operation sheets, travelers, sketches, and process specifications to determine required machining and inspection operations.
• Run production processes and produce parts that meet company quality standards.
• Complete production paperwork and enter required information into the company database.
• Work with the department to support consistent product quality and learn to operate additional shop equipment as needed.
• Follow company policies, applicable regulations, and required compliance procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• CNC experience in metal fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
• Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and advanced critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay organized, multitask, follow written and verbal instructions, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ability to meet the role’s physical and vision requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
