Senior Manager, Project Finance (Renewable Energy)

Location: United States — Salt Lake City, Utah; Louisville, Colorado; or San Diego, California. Remote locations may be considered for the right candidate.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day project finance transaction activities and ensure deals meet closing timelines.
• Manage and develop one to two junior employees, including reviewing work for accuracy.
• Develop complex financial models incorporating debt, tax equity, permanent equity, and other financing structures.
• Structure and execute construction debt, back leverage, tax equity, refinancing, tax equity buyout, equipment supply loan, and land sale transactions.
• Build relationships with capital providers and negotiate term sheets and binding financing documentation.
• Coordinate attorneys, consultants, hirify.global employees, and third-party diligence providers through funding and closing.

Requirements

• 7+ years of demonstrated financial experience and expertise building complex financial models in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience guiding renewable energy projects through financing processes and documentation negotiations.
• Ability to develop creative financial products and structures that create value and optimize returns and GAAP metrics.
• Ability to set and meet realistic deadlines in an unstructured environment.
• Proven record of closing deals across technologies and with different investors and banks.
