Senior Manager, Field Medical Affairs - Hematology

Location: Japan; field-based work model with approximately 40–60% travel.

What you will do

• Lead compliant scientific engagement with external experts across Hematology.
• Gather and communicate field insights from clinical practice and congress activities.
• Own complex field medical activities aligned with Medical Affairs strategy.
• Maintain expert, investigator, and engagement-priority mapping.
• Deliver disease-state education to practitioners and researchers.
• Support evidence generation, medical education, scientific communication, IIS, clinical-trial activities, and selected Medical Affairs projects.

Requirements

• MD, PhD, or PharmD preferred; a Master's degree with substantial Hematology experience may be considered.
• Deep scientific expertise in Hematology and solid tumors; hemato-oncology or immuno-Hematology experience is preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, clinical research, clinical practice, Medical Affairs, or related scientific roles.
• Ability to independently deliver advanced scientific engagement and high-quality field outcomes.
• Strong scientific communication and presentation skills, with experience building relationships with academic and clinical experts.
• Fluency in Japanese and English required.

Nice to have

• Prior Field Medical or Medical Science Liaison experience in Hematology.
• Experience supporting evidence generation, medical education, scientific communication, or Medical Affairs projects.
• Experience working in matrix organizations and partnering across functions.
