Financial Business Analyst (Finance Technology)

hirify.global is hiring for a contract consulting position supporting a financial application upgrade.

What you will do

• Execute regression testing during application upgrades.
• Support the annual application upgrade by completing approximately 400–700 test scripts.
• Identify report breaks and summarize findings for the team.
• Perform basic data validation, data comparison, and application navigation.
• Learn the financial application sufficiently to support upgrade testing.

Requirements

• Background as a Financial Business Analyst, Financial Data Analyst, or Risk Consultant.
• Basic finance and accounting knowledge, including debits, credits, and core financial concepts.
• Comfort navigating applications, importing and exporting data, working with network files, and comparing data sets.
• Strong technical aptitude; coding or software development experience is not required.
• Location preference: Minneapolis, Minnesota; Charlotte, North Carolina is a secondary option.

Nice to have

• Experience with SimCorp Dimension.
• Experience in finance technology environments.
