AI Transformation Operations Director

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Hybrid work is available remotely up to two days per week, or the role may be performed on-site five days per week with ad hoc flexibility.

Salary: $185,400–$278,200 base salary per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and annual equity awards.

What you will do

• Build and operate the model that moves AI transformation initiatives from strategic decisions to coordinated execution.
• Plan and coordinate governance forums, including calendars, agendas, materials, stakeholder input, decisions, and follow-through.
• Prepare concise, decision-oriented information and communications for executive leaders and governance forums.
• Translate portfolio and governance decisions into actions, responsibilities, timelines, conditions, and tracked commitments.
• Align teams across AI strategy, Finance, workforce strategy, technology, engineering, governance, and business functions.
• Develop scalable processes, tools, templates, and AI-enabled automation that improve coordination, accountability, and decision quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, organizational management, communications, a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Typically 10 or more years of experience in enterprise operations, transformation office operations, executive governance, or strategic program coordination.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating governance forums and decision processes for complex, enterprise-wide transformations or portfolios.
• Experience preparing executive materials, translating leadership decisions into action plans, and maintaining follow-through across multiple functions.
• Experience designing scalable governance routines, action-tracking practices, processes, tools, or management information.
• Practical fluency with AI and automation tools, plus strong executive writing, synthesis, organization, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
