Head of AI CoE Operations

Location: US-CA-Santa Clara; onsite

Salary: $196,320–$306,750 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Serve as strategic chief of staff to the CAIO, translating priorities into operating agendas, leadership routines, decision forums, briefings, and follow-through.
• Own the CoE operating cadence, including leadership meetings, SteerCo preparation, Board input, portfolio reviews, pod health reviews, and decision tracking.
• Prepare executive materials and communications with clear narratives, decisions, and alignment across senior stakeholders.
• Track delivery health across active pods and priority initiatives, including milestones, blockers, dependencies, launch readiness, adoption signals, and reusable Fabric assets.
• Coordinate dependencies across IT, Security, Legal, Quality, Finance, HR, Product, and business sponsors.
• Manage external partner delivery discipline, acceptance criteria, capability transfer, and readiness planning while providing the operating fact base for resourcing and escalation decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent, with broad knowledge of the relevant functional areas.
• At least 10 years of formal or informal leadership experience across people, projects, and/or programs.
• Experience in senior chief of staff, business operations, transformation, or strategy operations roles within a complex enterprise.
• Strong executive communication skills, including SteerCo, C-suite, and Board-level materials.
• Experience coordinating product, technology, finance, HR, legal, quality, security, and business teams.
• Strong judgment in prioritization, resource tradeoffs, stakeholder alignment, escalation, and AI-, data-, digital-, or technology-led transformation.
